Graduate Recognition Next Sunday: June 7 @ the 9 o’clock service.

Scholarship Applications Being Accepted: The “Levi Allen Roberts Memorial Scholarship” was established in April 2025 in memory of Levi Allen Roberts, grandson of Carl and Beverly Roberts. A high school graduate or current college student who is an active member of Germantown Methodist Church or the church’s youth group may apply. Information and forms are available in the rack outside the church office. The deadline to apply is TODAY.

Hope Of Heaven Tour JENNIFER ROTHSCHILD with special guest Ann Voskamp:
Sunday, Nov 8, 2026 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM at SouthBrook Christian Church. Please respond to Myra Wheeler by 5-31-26 so we know how many tickets to order. If we have 20 ladies interested in going, I can get a group rate. The group rate is the ticket price ONLY. NO service fee! Must pay when making order. Two Classes Begin New Studies: As mentioned last week, the Wednesday Morning Bible meets each Wednesday from 10:30-noon (then goes out to eat). They have begun a study on a new book of the Bible: Philippians. Likewise, the Pastor’s Sunday School class is also beginning a new study. They will look at 1 John. It’s a perfect time to join either group.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES

VBS Workers/Helpers Meeting: Please stay for 20 minutes after Sunday School TODAY for a general meeting to go over the VBS daily schedule, the lessons, the crafts, “duties”, and anything else we can think of that needs attention! (VBS is June 9-11, 9:30-12:30.) THANKS for volunteering! (Theresa F. 937-307-1137)

Vacation Bible School: “Magnified”! Bugs And Snakes And Plants, OH MY! Vacation Bible School is close—June 9-11th,from 9:30 AM-12:30 PM!!
Kids from Kindergarten to (those who just completed) 5th grade are invited to attend 3 days of FUN!!!
Please register your child(ren) by filling out the forms on the Welcome Center counter, and place the forms in the box located there.
Spots are still open for anyone who would like to help with VBS!
Sign up sheets are on the Welcome Center counter. We hope to see LOTS of kids at VBS!!!

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

For St. Paul UMC: We continue to accept household items (no furniture) and clothing in good, usable condition. Items may be placed in the coat closet near the media booth. Please have items labeled “mission”. Our faithful volunteers, Dale White & Don Berger, deliver these items to St. Paul UMC where they are made available to those in need.

C.A.M.P. May/June Wish List: Granola Bars, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Toilet Paper. Personal Care & Cleaning Products are always needed & welcome. If you are able, grab one or two extra items when you go to the store.

Mission To Honor Moms: The GO Team would like to do something special for moms in our community! We will collect (new) cloth & disposable diapers, baby wipes, “Onesies”, and baby lotion to give to CAMP to distribute to local moms in need. Please bring items to church and place in the tub near the office. We will collect items all during the month of May. If you would rather donate funds to purchase items, please write “GO Team mission” on your offering envelope. Thank you so much for helping in this sweet mission for moms and babies!

Operation Christmas Child Collection: The items we will collect during May for the shoe boxes are: Yo-yo’s, jump ropes, sidewalk chalk, small coloring books, crayons, small puzzles, plastic dinosaurs, plastic farm animals, Hot Wheels cars, small craft kits, “magic washcloths”, hand towels, kid & adult size socks, fun sunglasses for kids, hair barrettes and hair ties, hair bands, toothbrushes and travel cases, combs, and hairbrushes. There is a collection tub near the church office. Thank you so much for supporting this mission for children!
