Confirmation is a short-term discipleship program that helps young people as they transition in their faith. It explores Scripture and theology in a deeper way than when they were children. Confirmation recognizes the spiritual growth and conscious choice of the student. It marks their decision to accept the relationship offered by God – begun in baptism and affirmed now in the public profession of faith in Jesus Christ – and the commitment to take responsibility for living as a disciple. Confirmation marks the transition from spiritual childhood to the personal acceptance of responsibility for living as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Due to the restrictions of physical distancing during the Coronavirus crisis, here is where you will find material and teaching to get everything in for Confirmation Sunday, April 26. We will have lessons each week until we can get back together.
